CANON POINT: He has spent a year in Eudio, then months after that traveling with Jem ( medals ) - who he met in Eudio - in his universe. He decides to return at this time.
BACKGROUND: ONCE UPON A TIME, ALL THE DEVILS FLED HELL AND CAME TO EARTH. That's how our story begins, on an Earth where demons ran rampant to fuck, kill and eat every human they could find on their path. It was the apocalypse, as some would call it, the end of the world where humans had any say, so they called for the ancient powers of sleeping gods to come and save them from damnation. With prayer and devotion the gods from long forgotten pantheons returned and swept the demons from the Earth, taking their place in ruling over the human race.
With this new era, armies of humans blinded by their loyalty to the gods were bred, persecuting those considered impure or nonbelievers, often accused of being vessels to demons who had not been killed during salvation.
Saved or not - Earth no longer belonged to Mankind. If it had once been the Devil's playground, it was now made purely for the entertainment of the deities that had vanquished it. Gods were turning human believers into Saints - people blessed with super-powered and quasi-invulnerability to act as their god's weapons - and Priests - humans with the ability to warp minds and convert others to their gods - marching in a war against Hell. Gods used human bodies as their vessels so that they could walk the Earth and act as proper rulers - their Messiahs - discarded whenever they grew bored of their appearance and jumped onto the next.
As mankind always does... people grew tired of these gods. Their solution - their method of insurgence - ironically enough, was to call back the Devil.
A group of humans, who would later be referred to as The Unholy Seven, performed a bloody ritual to summon the Devil, and ask for Its help in taking back the Earth. They made a pact to kill all the gods, and in return the Devil took a non-believer to become Its future Messiah.
The chosen's name was Diana. Dragged down to Hell where she burned and suffered for two years, she was branded with a number of supernatural and sentient tattoos that would later aid her once she was returned to the human realm.
If you ask Petre where he's from, he'll quickly tell you 'In The Middle of Nowhere', Romania. Truth is he was born in a small village in the northern region, sheltered by caring and religious parents with strong family values. He lived a relatively normal childhood, a mild student at school and generally considered an anti-social twerp among his peers. He was always small and skittish, too shy to ever be extroverted or openly friendly to anyone, even if he was never mean. In fact Petre was occasionally bullied by the bigger kids, an easy target to anyone wanting to strike out their superiority and show off to girls.
Just like any other child in his village, Petre was a true believer of the god Baldr, of purity and light. However mild-mannered as he was, the boy always grew with slight unrest in his heart, craving for something more, wondering what it was like in the world out there. Surely there was more to life than utter and total devotion to this god. Surely there was more value in a person than who or what he believed in. This would be Petre's greatest debate, and it would be the cause of his downfall.
Petre succumbed to the wrath of his precious god when he dared to question His place on this Earth. His punishment was far greater than he could ever withstand - his entire family was completely wiped out, and he was left alive only to watch and remember their deaths. The Dodrescus would become a message to the rest of the village, should anyone else choose to rise against their ruler.
Luckily or not, Diana arrived just in time to perform the Devil's work and avenge Petre's relatives, killing the murderous god. When she found the young human crawling and bleeding in the dark depths of his wrecked home, she offered back the rest of his life and made him the first Reshaped human - now a demon with powers from Hell - and his soul was promised to burn eternally. In a moment of mercy and regret, Diana bargained with the Devil to keep him on Earth, and It conceded.
The transformation from human to demon was immediate. If it had not been for Diana, it would have been absolutely chaotic - Petre was now a being who thrived in sin and destruction, instinctive and amoral, actively looking for outlets to an ever accumulating need to corrupt. Violence was an easy solution - he often helped Diana fight off and kill enemies that crossed their way, doing so viciously. The literal hunger for human flesh came after, and he ate his first victim as he completely lost control, shredding him with claws and fangs until there was nothing left. Needless to say he grew more and more reckless, and Diana had to teach him a lesson or two to make him smart before he just got himself killed.
In addition to some modicum of control, Petre learned several other things, among them how to speak more languages with fluency, doing so at an alarming speed. He also learned how to fight with the right techniques, use a weapon or two, how to pick victims and use his ability to control minds by wiring himself to the person's Sins, etc.
One of the most relevant time periods of his Reshaped life was practically at its beginning. He and Diana arrived to a location in Canada to investigate the rumors of a newly emerged Saint called Caleb Waters, who served the god Osiris. While Diana was the only one of the two capable of killing gods with her sword Kaladanda, Petre was still able to hunt down and kill Saints, Priests, even some Messiahs, so he was given the task to kill off Caleb on his own.
Having tracked him down, Petre quickly found that he wasn't a Saint after all. Instead Caleb was just incredibly devoted to his god, and just as suspicious of Petre when he first showed up - he pointed a gun at Petre's head and threatened him based on the fact that the boy was a stranger, and because he'd been following him. Convincing Caleb that he was harmless, he instead pretended to need his help and was taken in. It was on their very first night together that Petre indulged in his first sexual experience, and from then on he weaved a web of manipulation to corrupt and turn Caleb away from his god.
This only lasted for so long before Petre had to leave. When he returned a few years later, he found that Caleb had become a Saint during his absence, and killed him for it. This was the first time he had become obsessed with someone other than Diana, and taken their decisions as an act of betrayal, which would be a prelude to several relationships through the following six years, where his loyalty to Diana would remain the only constant.
When he came to Eudio, the year was 2020. Sacred Cities were scattered across the world; Petre and Diana wandered from one to the next, posing as a headhunters and private investigators to catch non-believers but instead eliminating as many Gods as possible as they Reshaped humans and sent them down to Hell.
But Petre was offered another contract, and he said yes. He came to Eudio on the promise that he would have time beyond his deal with Satan, but quickly added an incentive after the other: to no longer fall weak to the holy and divine, then to be able to shape-shift. His approach to being in Eudio was carefree and reckless, going through one partner after the other, confident there would be no ties to break once it was his turn to leave.
That didn't go according to plan. He did form a lot of ties, among which the strongest was Jem Walker, with whom he eventually got into his first relationship. Rumor is he even fell in love! Which is probably why she decided to follow him to his world a while after Petre left. Since their departure, they've spent their time traveling around the world; for the most part Petre still hunts down gods with Diana, but he also has to take more into account than just having fun and causing mayhem.
At one point, he and Jem have a very nasty fight; Petre threatens to attack her and she responds with a prayer, which leaves him bleeding and weakened. With the immunity to these things having been left behind in Eudio, and Jem's previous insistence that he find a way to never go to hell at all, he seeks out the representatives in secret to make a return.
PERSONALITY TRIGGER WARNING - He is sadistic, violent, remorseless, abusive. He loves violence and sex, corruption in all its forms. His stay in Eudio has curbed it somewhat, or just taught him how to keep it to himself a lot better. He was always smart enough to prioritize his contract over his urges, though he still bent the rules a little to see what he could get away with, mostly by getting others to misbehave.
CODEPENDENCY - Until Jem came along, Diana was the only person in the world Petre counted on, the only one he could trust. Her creator, his savior, his ally and friend - family. Jem shares a similar role now, though theirs is obviously romantic and sexual, where Diana and Petre's was not. She is his priority and the idea of her being with others makes him incredibly jealous, which makes him incredibly hypocritical. He doesn't know what life is without her anymore, though, and he doesn't want to find out. She elicits a kind of affection from him he didn't even know he had, however possessive it becomes. Think cat who doesn't want to share its owner.
PRIDE - Petre is vain. He cares a lot about his appearance, presents himself in proper, expensive attire, hair slicked to the side. He likes purchasing and owning things, but he isn't above stealing or taking them. His vanity is expressed in all other behavior, too, from how he gets along with most and doesn't really care if chemistry doesn't click. Sure, he's created ties before, but he isn't actively looking for new ones. If he's an annoyance, he'll have his fun with it, if not, he'll just enjoy it for what it is.
POWER - A power freak through and through, he likes dominance and control, be it in a fight, a conversation - sex. Sometimes he fantasizes about letting it all go, letting someone take over and overpower him, but he rarely follows through. And while his personality has grounded characteristics, there's a lot about him that's inconstant, unpredictable. Eudio is proof of how his circumstances can shift a great part of him without quite sacrificing his core - soon as he went home he went back to old habits, with Jem by his side to remind him of a few new lessons. His mood swings according to his wants, and they aren't always the same things.
WEAKNESS - He hates religion and gods, no exceptions. Just being around them affects his health and mood. When he sulks, he sulks. Don't ever expect him to admit he's wrong, either. He'd much rather manipulate the situation and turn it against you just to be a petty idiot.
INCENTIVE: This time, Petre is going for something big. He wants to take the Devil's place, to have enough power to fight her and every other god, then take hell's throne. He'll have his shape-shifting from his last stay, and ask for the immunity to the divine again. Just so he doesn't vomit on stranger's shoes again. Totally.
FIT: Though he is highly violent, Petre's extremely sexual as well. He has no qualms about sleeping with anyone capable of providing consent. He can be affectionate in any way that suits him, too. Suffice to say physical contact of any sort is something he's perfectly willing to offer and take in return.
CONSENT: Having the power to warp minds in his world, Petre has broken consent several times before. As was stated in the app - and as his previous stay in Eudio demonstrated - he doesn't do what goes against his interests, however selfish they are. That said, he has had a lot of experience with seeing other people being controlled, too, namely by gods, and has an aversion to seeing that situation repeated with the people he cares about.

ANYTHING ELSE? His power set, including what has been and should be nerfed:
IMPEL - To influence people by tapping into their sins. The outcome can vary depending on which sin is influenced and who is being influenced. This should be nerfed.
CORRUPTION - Related to Impel; he has a strong urge and need to corrupt humans and turn them into darker versions of themselves. This should be nerfed.
DEMON BIOLOGY - He can't get sick. He cannot be burnt and can walk through fire without so much a charred hair. He has regenerative skills and can grow back limbs, but this requires eating a number of humans to acquire the energy. He has demonic strength and stamina. He can make his teeth and nails sharper to tear flesh easily.
FIRE AND HEAT - He can create the sensory illusion that one is getting hotter, or actually burning, through touch. Petre can generate fire, but he cannot control it. He can burn and melt virtually anything through touch.
SHAPE-SHIFTING (EUDIO) - He can turn into anyone from memory, or create his own new appearances. His voice will change but he can't take on the abilities or memories when emulating someone else. As per Eudio rules, he has to inform any potential partners of his identity.
WEAKNESSES:
BLOOD HUNGER - Due to his nature as a demon, Petre has to constantly feed on human flesh and bone. If he does not feed regularly, he becomes much less in control of himself and his actions, until he goes full berserk and starts fucking shit up. This can be substituted with synthetic meat.
HOLINESS - Anything related to religion makes him want to violently hurl. Church music makes him screech like a banshee and bleed out of his ears. That sort of stuff. He usually cannot walk in holy places, as he starts to feel so much pain he can barely walk. Any powers with the same connotation however are extremely hurtful to him.

clarification on why eudio reps would invite him back ( revisions )
1) His stay in Eudio has curbed [these characteristics] somewhat, or just taught him how to keep [them] to himself a lot better. He was always smart enough to prioritize his contract over his urges, though he still bent the rules a little to see what he could get away with, mostly by getting others to misbehave.
His sadism, violence, remorseless and abuse are all mostly related to his mission and how he was shaped by the devil. He and Diana fight against gods who are supernatural, overpowered versions of tyrants, almost without exception, and those who fight in their name are mostly on the same level of violence and cruelty as the two demons opposing them. In addition to that, his previous stay in Eudio should be demonstration enough that he can keep to the rules, control himself and even develop feelings of affection for other people (re: Jem Walker, James Cole, Ilde Featherstonehaugh, Lara Croft, Tinker Bell, and so on) for reasons unrelated to furthering his own interests and without deliberately manipulating them. There have been antagonistic relations, too, because he's still petty and wishes that everyone who makes him feel awful would feel awful right back. Mature!
Further, Petre prefers consent overall. He doesn't see much fun in forcing people to like him; instead he likes to see those who antagonize him as a challenge and sees what he can do to change their minds, which usually requires a certain kind of charm that makes people go why are you the way that you are? more often than not. He thinks he's funny. If they give him no hook or just end up pissing him off, though, he'll walk away. (And sulk.)
2) (...) as his previous stay in Eudio demonstrated - he doesn't do what goes against his interests, however selfish they are.
He's done the same in relation to Satan back home, whom he would gladly turn against if he knew that it wouldn't end with horribly bad consequences for him. If it serves him, he will serve in return, and in Eudio that means placing those characteristics aside. He can be malleable enough to fit the scenario, as he's done before. It's important to point out that this scenario did an active role in changing him, too - without the threat that he lives on a daily basis back home, and without the abstract daily quota of corruption to perform to honor his contract with Satan (read: not be dragged down to hell), there's no real need for it, either.
In more concrete terms of consent, Petre enjoys seduction. He likes to tease and make people uncomfortable in a joking manner, but for his year-long stay in Eudio, there were no instances of overstepping Eudio-set boundaries. There's a preference for making sex fun, but if people want to go deeper than that, he's all for it. While he'll rarely say no, he will take no for an answer. (Then tease them. Or just sit in a corner and loudly sulk about it.)
Finally (if I'm allowed to hypothesize Eudio representatives' side of the matter!), the argument could be made that Eudio represented a second chance for him. In the same way some characters have come here to change a problematic life/world/situation, they could look at the changes that Eudio represented for Petre during his first stay and see that further improvements to him as an individual could be made. Even if he's aiming to be the new Satan. He will be a nicer Satan!
