Not all gods were enemy of the Devil. Nimue, the bride of a monstrosity, creates her very own handmaiden in the shape of a void angel and keeps her name: Carolena. Petre comes upon the angel and they develop a parody of a friendship. He thinks himself all-powerful, knowing he will leave no legacy behind, so she, with the ability to manipulate anything organic to her most capricious whim, takes a challenge upon herself. She steals three pieces of the demon inside him and creates three demons of her own, planting them in different parts of the world to see how they will fare.
It starts with a girl in Romania, who worships the god Baldr until the day she doesn't. Tthe girl dies, and a demon comes to life in her place. It's fun and games until she meets the not-saint and inevitably the demon shoves him onto a bed and they fuck. She's sterile, so whatever; the consequences of sex with a male have never been an issue. Except he's the almost-saint of some fertility goddess and, well. Twins run in his family. The Devil is equal parts laughing and fucking pissed off that the number two minion could make such a horrifying mistake, so she demotes her from every demon perk while keeping the same hunger, and orders the Messiah to consider her as good as dead. Petra comes crawling back to Santiago and is taken in by his cult. Finally, Hell on Earth.
